Over time, the former Officer’s Club became outdated and inadequate in achieving its mission.  The original building design contained spaces laid out in a very rigid fashion, as well as being devoid of natural light.  Flexibility was key in the design of the renovated spaces.  Code compliance issues were also of concern and subsequently addressed in the renovation.

Skylights grace the ceiling in the main corridor, allowing natural light into the space.  With the installation of retractable soundproof walls, the building has gained flexibility.  Multiple configurations can be employed to accommodate conferences, weddings, event receptions, and even military balls.  On the lower level, there are two conference rooms and an expanded kitchen.
